A
trailblazing
Internet business may have changed the face
of search engines as it offers users money
for every search on the well known search
engine Yahoo.
Internet
site Homepages
Friends has announced a deal with Search
Engine giant Yahoo which threatens to change
the way we search the Internet. Homepages
Friends will take a commission on all Yahoo
Searches through its' site, and passes 50%
of this through to its' members.
"the
average user ... could readily raise
in excess of £50 per year"
Homepages Friends
The average Internet user could earn £50
by being paid for their searches
Users
signup to the site for free, and can search either
by using a personalised homepage (with no need
to login), or updating their browser search bar
to use the service. The user receives their search
results through a standard Yahoo results page,
and their Homepages
Friends account is credited for the search.
Site
offers 2.4p (4.8 cents) per search
The
process is designed to be as seamless as possible,
so the user is hardly impacted by the change of
search provider. The amount per search varies,
but in BeachyUK.com tests, we received an average
of 2.4p (roughly $0.048) per search. At
an average of 10 searches per day that would mean
an annual credit of £175.
