Most of our clients are new startup businesses, looking to use to Internet to grow, and to make a presence in the market without a large outlay. With site designs from £200, a website can be just the start your business needs. For many of our clients, the site acts not only as a method to drive new business, but also as an extended business card. Handing out their url, clients have found that people do visit the site, and the information from the site can add the extra confidence to make the sale.

The Site Build process

Unfortunately, there's quite a bit we need to understand about your business before we go developing a site. It's nice to meet you in-person, this not only helps us understand you better, but it also helps us understand the business we are trying to convey.

The first question we ask our customers is: what do you want from your site? (New customers, new business from existing customers, brand recognition etc...). We will usually also ask if you have any design ideas in-mind, or if you've seen any competing sites what you like the look of (and also those you don't like the look of). All of this arms us with the details of you, your business and your values helps us put together a design.

Finally, we need to discuss pages, how many are you after? This may sound like an impossible question, but it drives the need to agree a structure for your new site...a common structure would be:

• Homepage
• Background on Product/Service
• Products/Services for Offer - This page would have several pages under it, one per brand/product type
• About your business
• Contact Details

We now go away and put together everything we've found out, and come up with a first draft design concept. This will give us an idea as to whether we are on the right lines or not, and will become more detailed with each iteration.

Finally, when you are happy the design is exactly what you were after, we can move to get the site totally up-to-date and place it online (prior to this point any online version is likely to be password protected from the public).

And that is it! Your site goes live, and we can update it for you with new product information etc... or you can handle maintenance, it's your site, and your choice!
